Welcome

Welcome to our church and to our new website. In a lot of ways, this website – which we want to be fresh and relevant to the people in our area and attractive to those in search of a new church home – marks a new era in the life of the Scott Avenue Christian Church (SACC) Family. We are excited about reaching out to the world and excited about bringing God’s message to those who do not know him. And we are excited about meeting you!

Hopefully the following will answer your basic questions about SACC. Please join us to meet our family, to fellowship, and to worship God in a personal way.

Our Vision

Scott  Avenue will be a place that people move from lost to leader.  Where every member is committed to their Worship, Walk and Work for Christ, as they Help Others Do the Same.

We emphasize a QUALITY of discipleship, not a QUANTITY of disciples.

“We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.” (Colossians 1:28)

Worship

Quality disciples Worship Christ

“But the hour is coming and is now here, when the true worshiper will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

(John 4:23-24)

Walk

Quality disciples Walk with Christ and in fellowship with others.

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.”

 (1 John 1:7)

Work

Quality disciples Work for Christ

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

(Matthew 5:16)

Help Others

Quality disciples Help Others  Do the Same things they are doing

“You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.”

(2 Timothy 2:1-2)
